To frame the lamp, the Starlight wallpaper by Wall&Decò in a custom version, designed specifically for Burning Bright. A constellation of intermittent stars that leaves a door open to the infinite creative universes that the designer faces, creating functional objects characterized by a continuous search for new expressive languages.

Burning Bright and sensory perception

The exhibition Burning Bright refers with its title to the poem ‘The Tyger’ by William Blake, author who first wanted to explore the concept of broadening perception. Serena Confalonieri presents with the exhibition a path that tells her work, based on color perception and on the research of Aldous Huxley (admirer of Blake’s poetry to which he often refers) about perceptual alterations resulting from the use of psychedelic drugs and accompanying the viewer in a vibrant and colorful journey, where vision and all other senses are hyperstimulated by strong colors and kaleidoscopic patterns.

Burning Bright will be open to the public from 5 November 2022 to 7 January 2023 at the Contemporary Cluster, in the prestigious location of Palazzo Brancaccio in Rome. For more information, visit the official profiles of Serena Confalonieri and the Contemporary Cluster.
